What do I have faith in...

Items from school, church, friends and family this week that sunk right into my heart, inspired a new thought, or changed an old perspective.

I have faith in the "fragility of the ordinary." (Anthony Amsterdam)

"...the story of what is broken becomes something whole." (Aurora Levins-Morales)

"You have to change a person's heart before you can change their behavior." (MLK)

"Ghosts are like bees, they don't fuck with you unless you fuck with them." (Mass Graves)

It is a challenge to "tell the story of yourself as a student."

The most value things in my world are not currency, nor commodity; they are attention and time.

"The stars don't shine, they burn," means different things to different people. (lyrics from Encanto- Lin-Manuel Miranda)

Having one friend tell you "I'm so happy you exist," and another say "You're a good human- clever, funny, thoughtful, big-hearted. I see you." can make the week significantly brighter.

Hearing Elizabeth say, "Te amo" makes the weekend significantly brighter. Getting to snuggle with Anibal and Bryant may be my new favorite thing.

The only thing that can truly be blasphemous in a church is hanging the toilet paper role incorrectly.
