Week 8: Meow

I find it both fascinating and telling that this quarter, my posts are mostly about my life outside of school. It feels like an important shift. I still spend almost everyday, reading, studying, and writing for seminary. I am taking 14 credit hours, which translates into 42-56 hours of work each week. However, I think my learning in translating into praxis and the everyday. Or perhaps it is the cumulative impact of the pandemic which makes me savor the human connections I get so much more than the academic knowledge I am gaining.

Kristin and Arne came to see me this week. We went to Meow Wolf, hiked out by Cherry Creek Reservoir, and ate amazing food. Mostly, though, I just savored being with them.
